Where futility comes to fore,
A stark contrast to one's reality
It's a dead silence in the shore.
But time passes as it should be
And with it things start to heal,
The pain starts to fade away
But there's still so much to reveal.
The devastating storm is a bygone
And the ocean waves make a new rhapsody,
A smile dawns on that frowning face
With a new hope for eternity..
As you start to take the steps
To march forward that same sea,
A new sunshine graces you
A new tune of life's melody.
But is that hope only going to be short-lived?
